This is unbelievable! Facebook, myspace and more combining forces!
I just found out some news from some of my contacts in the marketing industry. I don’t think it is being made public for a couple weeks, so I wanted to give my readers here a heads up to prepare for it.
Myspace, Facebook, and a few of the biggest dating sites are joining forces for a huge project. They are going to be submitting everyone’s profile to a marketing and database management company. They still all have in the archives every post, comment, bulletin, and even email that has been sent through their systems. It’s enough personal info to put Google to shame. Plus they have the ip addresses from which each one was sent. That ip address can pretty much tell them exactly where you live, even if you only have a free account and thought you never gave them any info. Their database is connected to similar databases at a number of online stores, plus… and this is the worst of it, the databases for Mastercard, Visa, Amex, and others.
So far, the results have been incredible. With the info combined from these various systems, they know just about everything possible about you. Including where you live, property, a huge history of purchases, who you speak to online, and even if you’ve done ‘dirty talk’ with them. Then, they use this to sell you stuff that they already know you are interested in. And, because this is all gotten through private sources, they can do anything they want with it. Currently they are in talks with some companies to use this info in background check services. If that goes through, I could give them just your for example, your Facebook username, pay a few dollars, and find out more about you than your closest friends know. Who your friends are, what kind of stuff you like, where you live, your job, even right down to the kind of searches you’ve made on sex sites (and responded to).
Usually, something this big is blasted out months in advance to the press. This is just about ready, and they are keeping it tightly under wraps until it is actually launched, sometime this month. This is so noone will have time to bring a lawsuit against them and stop them. Once it is done, it will be much harder to close down. Write me for more info on what you can do!
By the way, Happy April Fools day. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet…
